SD Whitetail hunt
« on: November 21, 2009, 07:12:46 PM »
Went to SD with the wife and my brothers on a whitetail hunt.  We bought one buck and two doe tags each.  Her first whitetail.  We filled our doe tags quickly, but the bruiser bucks were not really to be found.  We rolled into town Saturday and I shot this one Wednesday morning.

Momma was having trouble with her .243 so she used my 7mm to shoot the heart out of this one AND the next one.  Now she tells me she is keeping that rifle, going to paint it pink and put sparklies on it.   :bash:

BTW, word of advice, ALWAYS look before you drop down or sit out there...

Here are a few pics of some mulies that were "safe" as we didn't have mule tags.

and then after 2900 miles and just about back home, I saw this guy one mile from my house.
