I think .308shooter has some explaining to do. ;)

About a month or so ago a guy who said he was from NW Sportsman Magazine contacted me about www.washingtonwolf.info. He said he was doing a story on wolves in Washington and requested use of this photo in the article and asked if I would send it to him.

Mulehunter provided this photo to me several months ago to include on the wolf site because he got it in the Methow Valley area of Washington. So I know mulehunter had the photo then.

Before sending the photo to the supposed newspaper guy, I asked mulehunter pemission, which he granted. Now it appears that the whole thing was most likely a scam. :twocents:

I would imagine that .308shooter is just a greenie trying to cause trouble....does anyone on this forum know him.... :dunno:

Just for general info, I get hate mail about every other day from greenies just because of my outfitting website and youtube videos. The cougar video really drives them nuts.... :chuckle:

Bearpaw,

First of all, I wouldnt let u down. My story is TRUE! PERIOD!

Mulehunter  ;)

mulehunter....no worries....I never doubted it was your photo....I just wanted to set the record straight so everyone knew the truth about this. Take Care... ;)

I would say this .308Shooter kid just learned a tough lesson about being dishonest and about being held accountable for his claims. :twocents:

By the way, it looks like Brett123 and 308 is posting from the same IP address, so if I ban the one, I assume I nail them both.  We are currently deliberating on what to do.  This is like stealing from a member.  I'm a bit sensitive on this since I post thousands of pictures on here. >:(

Basically it sounds like he is a kid that was trying to be somebody.

Two ways to look at it, he needs to learn a lesson, but also if everyone throws him out, then we can't offer any advice or help. Sometimes it's better to try and help someone out....tough decision for sure.....glad it's you guys dealing with it. :twocents:

To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.
