Savage 24V-A,  .222rem. over 20ga.

I had to look all over for that gun but man I love it.
There's a reason they call it hunting, not killing.

I recently received a model 1873 winchester lever action in 38/40 caliber (first winchester center fire rifle made) in excellent condition. Got it from my grandpa. I had to shoot it at least once and it is cool. To bad its so old just something i dont want to shoot around with. Makes me want to get a newer lever action to shoot like a 300 savage!

I would have to say that my stevens 22-250 has got to be the funnest gun I have ever owned. Next up would be my good old 300 win mag savage. Both put a hole just where I want.

Ruger 10/22 or Ruger Mark III Target model.  Right behind those two is my Ruger Blackhawk 45 Colt but the 22 ammo is so much cheaper.

Make that three.  .22 over 20ga. shot my first duck with it! A redhead hen.  The only down side is the weight.

I dont know if it is a savage though, it is an old gun that was given to me a long time ago.

Long gun;  M1 Garand
it has the feel, the accuracy, the history and can lay down some heavy lead.
Handgun;  Walther PPK
With reloads and home cast bullets i can blast away all day for pennies per shot, well built and accurate.
