I am seeing nothing but does and even then i only seem to have one close enough to shoot at when it is too dark to see through my peep sight. Had 3 does at 37 yards the other day.  :bash:
The only person who has failed is the one who never tried.

Today I decide to just take a deep breath and wait till it worms up a little and things aren't so noisey.  Though I did walk into a couple spots, nothing.  There was a few elk by the highway some of the locals got into, I believe a spike was taken.  With the whole unit being pretty much private property its kinda tuff to hunt where you think they're at. No axelfisher that is not up Blue Lake.  MagKarl you should be happy as I am to with the weekend weather report,  not gonna really warm up much till sunday or monday but at least it will be better than it has, and I hope the chance of flurries turns into an half inch or more.

Oh ya my son and I was going through the same thing during rifle, we only saw 4 does through the whole season. Very weird activity this year. But as soon as my season started (bow) I started seeing animals again.
To God alone be the Glory!!
