Some people have all the luck....
« on: December 11, 2009, 06:38:55 PM »
Woke my buddy up this morning to head out on the bay. we went out and killed 5 mallards right off the bat. then he takes a shot at a duck. and i walked over and picked it up. he didnt even know what it was.I informed him he shot a eurasian widgeon.  :bash: (i gotta get quicker) and its waiting to get mounted now. we switched spots after that and knocked down a couple teal before calling it a day. Icy days arent so bad. cant wait for geese tomorrow though.

Last year I missed a decoying widgeon.  My buddy's boy dropped it after my miss.  I walked over and picked it up and it also was a european, :bash:  I've been wanting to shoot one for the longest time.

I have scene several of them in the area in the last week.  Saw one on some private property with about another 150 wigeon.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

Awesome, I want to get one of those so bad.  My buddy got into a couple of them two weeks ago, got one I think.
I would rather be a conservative nut job, than a liberal with no nuts, and no job!
