I'm curious about this, thinking the old 10x50s are getting heavy.

Tony, I've seen some pretty good deals on the geovids, one such deal was unbeleviable, didn't even think about turning a buck on them, didn't think they would sell.   :chuckle:

I'm gonna dump my 10 y/o slc's this winter and try some  "new el's" out. Always like swarovski better than lieca or ziess, in the field..

Took some gamblin on my part...........

proved fruitful, supplying me with a free set.

Geovids, in Kanadia, go for 3000 loonies with tax.......hint.
..............as always, offering sobering truth.

Gots to keep my wheelin, deelin, with a more than winning record.

Wifey keeps the gear chain very slack when I do not have to pay for crappy gear.

Salami man your a weird dude!  So all you guys that are bashing the geovids are you telling me that I don't see as much game because I have inferior optics. BS, the swaros will not allow me to be any better of a hunter than with my leicas.  I don't have to worry about losing my range finder or glassing up a critter then having to dig my rangefinder out of my pocket then range the put it back, that's a lot of extra movement and time for an animal to spook.  The minut additional amount of low light gather from the swaros does not make them far more superior.  This post is a joke.  Who would buy something x3 that expensive and then decide they are garbage, oh wait that kinda sounds like a girlfriend I used to have.  Hahahaha

Don't get your panties in  a wad cause I think the geovids are crap, to me its the overall quality of the optics, nothing else.
My opinion on this shouldn't mean any more to you than your opinion means to me, pretty much nothing.
If you like the Geovids better, great, keep them in business.

I disagree with your statement about movement and making game spook, If I use my rangefinder the game is over 300 yards away and I'm not to worried about spooking game at that distance.  And using one brand of anything making someone a better hunter, thats total crap. Gear doesn't make a good hunter.
 Again just my 2 cents.

James, I didn't say that did I? I really don't care what you shoot, what you glass with, or what kinda truck you drive. My eyes like swarovski, that where my money goes. Obviously you like liecas, and they work very well for you, keep on a truckin. Later
