Electronic Decoys on Yak Res????
« on: December 27, 2009, 06:39:00 PM »
Alright, does anyone care to share any local lore on this issue??? I have seen more people using Mr. Mojo and other electronic spinners this year than not, saw two groups using them today.  Is it not enforced, allowed, whats the deal??? It sucks hunting near groups that are using when you are not....

Are you sure they are electronic/battery operated?  THere are very many different wind operated spinners out there.  Also those that use "human" power,  has a cord that you pull from a distance and it works well.... If it is battery powered,  then call and turn them in!

It is legal on the res.  They are governed by federal wildlife rules.  Once again, thank you state of Washington.

Thanks for the replys, I figured the locals would know the answer, and yes, I can tell the difference between a pullstring knottyduck-flutterwing-etc from an electronic its pretty obvious, ie constantly spinning one way versus back and forth wing beats.

I saw a guy using one a few weeks back.  I walked up and took a look at it and he asked didn't like that.  I mentioned that they were outlawed a years back.  He didn't care.  He had the remote in his hand.  Oh well, his ticket not mine.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!
