Highly recommend the book, change the way I hunt and opened up a whole new hunting world for me. Great book for backcountry beginners.

Thanks for all the comments.

I got the book for Christmas and finished it last night.  As of right now I am planning on doing a backcountry bowhunting trip.  I want to go in one of the high hunt area's next year with my bow just don't know where yet .:dunno:

I got it for Christmas, and love it so far.  My dad got it for me from Eastman's.com for $25.  People who pay $70 for a $25 book deserve to be screwed out of their money.  I've read Cameron in their magazines for a couple years, and admire him.  He's the real deal- hunts the hard way, not on dude ranches.

I ordered this book yesterday after reading everyones reviews, also had to get a new video since I was on the Eastmans site. Thanks for the info.  I want to hunt higher up in the country I hunt & the book should give some insight on how to do it. Even if I hunt a couple of miles in just for the day I am sure it will help me be more prepared. I am going to head up & find the bigger mulies I dream about when I look up at the valleys that I have not made it up to. Am going to hike & scout this summer & be ready for Early Sept. Thanks for the link on the book, excited to read it.    Mike

I'm going to do the same.  Probably have my brother drop me off on Friday and pick me up Sunday.  I want to get back to hunting the wa I used to- hard core.  I had more success back then.
