Dumb to video and youtube that crap.

On a side note it got me clicking on the related links on the side.  Got into a bunch of Coyote vs Dog video's.  These people thought it was so cute that there dog and the wild coyote were playing in the back yard. :dunno:  Are people really that dense?

I watched a couple, those yotes were trying to lure those dogs into the tree's.  Guess what was waiting for those dogs if they went into the brush.

I know there are many people out there that are not the sharpest, but even today it still amazes me at the ignorance.  No wonder the wonderfull wolf and the pretty couger and the friendly coyote are getting so much backing for protection.

Shootmoore

The answer is yes there are people that dumb, I have met a few here in the Methow. One afternoon I got to watch some coyotes lure a couple of dogs, it wasn't long and there was 8 coyotes working on two dogs, 270 sort of ruin a few coyotes that day. The dogs shouldn't have been where they were anyway as a year later I shot one of them running deer and I know who took care of the other. Like Huntbear said its to bad they didn't get a few new ones ripped. The antis make up enough lies of their own without our side donating real live action. :bash:

At least they went after the wounded animal :dunno:

I would think the real problem everyone has its that they posted it on youtube :bash: That was the only thing that got me heated, plus they laugh like 13 yr old girls

I agree, looks like it had a broken leg when he pulled it out, so the coyote must have went in there after getting wounded, which is probably why he wasn't trying to bite back.

They did the right thing by finishing it off, but it was stupid to try and make it look like they were giving it a sporting chance to escape and then posting it on youtube. Some people may not understand what was really going on there.

FYI - In europe several breeds of dogs were created to go in holes after game. That's how certain breeds of terriers and other dogs came to exist. Hunters have been digging game out of holes for centuries. There's a video of natives digging out snakes, but the difference is, they are not laughing like 13 year old girls and making fun out of killing it.  :twocents:

When it tries to run off, you can see the leg flopping all over the place, definitely a wounded coyote.

Can you say rabies, distemper, or any other assorted medical problems.
Those two will be making the Darwin Awards soon enough.

However, people do stupid things without thinking lots of times.
