09 Martin Firecat        Browning recurve  ( don't hunt with it, sling ceder)
Honesty is the best policy,  but insanity is a better defense.

2010 Monster XLR8.  80+ pounds :o

you trying to break the 400fps mark with that setup

"Trying" is not the right question to ask
The proper question is "when" are you getting it so I can come watch it happen! :chuckle:

Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something. You choose.

I bet you can do it. Not sure if 80lbs is sufficient. Light arrow and close to a hundred lbs and it will be a smoking fast arrow.

I retired from the bow searchin' & tryin' several years ago.... with my Switchback XT.
2 OR blacktails, 1 ID whitetail and 1 OR bull elk wished I hadn't.

I'd bowhunt WA for bull elk but my 300 Win Mag keeps barking year after year.   ;)

03 Ben Pearson Freedom.   It does its job when I do my job.    Still thinking about a new one every year, but other stuff takes priority(new pack and spotting scope will most likely trump a new bow for 2010).

How light of arrow will you have to shoot to get that speed?

Hunting: Mathews Switchback....still hard to beat
3D: Alpine Ventura Target....I'm easy to beat, but the bow is pretty much perfect!
Bring a GPS!  It's awkward to have to eat your buddies!
