As to the best place to find a used Tikka t3? I have looked online but would prefer to pick it up locally. Cabellas does not have one and I don;t have many other ideas. Thanks!
p.s. sorry if this is a repost, having problems getting it to post

Call the gun pawn shops in the area, people will be selling them now that most seasons are over.

guns america and gun broker should have some have it shipped to your local ffl holder/shop and they will charge you a smaller fee mine is 25 for the one in town. your ffl holder will just have to fax his forms to the seller.

I am interested in a .270 or a 7mm. I would prefer laminated stainless but would go for synthetic. My price range is slightly flexible but around 500. I would prefer a used ggun as I hope to get a lot of use out of it and not worry about scratching it up

Would this interest you?
I reputable guy in Texas. I don't know if it's still available though. This ad was from October but didn't list it as sold.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Tikka T3 6.5x55
I have a used Tikka T3 lite stainless synthetic. There may be a few light scuff marks in the stock-nothing that stands out. This one is borishly accurate as Tikkas are know to be. I will include 3 new boxes of hornaday 140 grn SP interlocks and 1 full box and an additionsl 12 rounds of the remington core loks 140 grn.
You can find this same gun NIB on GB for about $580 + shipping and FFL trnasfer fees
The hornaday ammo runs about $26 + shipping on midway if they have it in stock and the remington ammo runs about $27 per box.
So there is about $118 worth of ammo along with the gun and scope rings-Will sell everything for $600 shipped to your FFL

it's a 270 short fatty but it's a hell of a round and the price is right.
