Mid 150's.  No help from eyeguards and I would guess the width at around 28"

You're funny!

i'm usually not funny. thanks.
the velvet makes him look bigger. he's a beatuful buck but he's not high 180's. i'd be prouder than a peacock to have him on my wall.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

the velvet makes him look bigger.
As does the short-cropped Summer coat of hair, which makes the body look smaller than it does with his Winter coat.  But in my book that's unquestionably a shooter!  Very nice buck.

THanks Wapiti, a 170 3 would be one heck of a trophy.  I'll just have to be patient and see it from home.  Velvet does normally really make a deer look bigger.

Good buck for washington. No chance at 180 but should make low 170's. Without front shot hard to guess spread and beams without being on the high end. These angles are where deer tend to look the biggest.

He's a stud that's for sure.  If he's still around next season he will likely add some mass also.  What a buck!
