I just heard back from one of my reps.  So now my senator and one of two reps have responded.

This rep said he was a fellow gun owner and didn't support this bill as it is worded.

Key words there being as it is worded.

We'll see.
If you don't stand behind the troops, please feel free to stand in front of us.

The live video is up and running on the public testimony now.  Old Kline is running it with an iron fist.  Arrogant towards his fellow legislators as well.

Nothing to add, just wanted to follow the thread.
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

From Sen. Delvin this afternoon/evening:

        Friends,

Today’s hearing on Senate Bill 6396, the assault weapons ban, was packed to the rafters and the hallways were overflowing. Thanks to your calls, e-mails and letters, the search provisions of the bill were removed from the bill almost before the hearing began!

With your help and support, I expect this bill to be stopped in its tracks. I’ll keep you posted should there be need for an “Alert.”   We all know that in Olympia, nothing is for sure until the gavel pounds on the final minute of Sine Die – scheduled for March 11.  Meanwhile, here’s a quick look at the hearing in progress.

For the full hearing, a link to TVW.Org, the legislature’s television station. Senate Judiciary, 10:00 am.  http://tvw.org/index.cfm?bhcp=1;

            Enjoy!
