Envy envy.  10 chukars is a great day!  Can't wait to hammer 'em this fall with my new setter.  I'm hunting the John Day in a couple weekends on a private ranch near Condon, OR. with some friends and their dogs.  Long drive, but worth it.

There's another good ranch, near Dayville, which is very, very reasonably priced.  Mostly pheasant, though.

This ranch is a friend of mine's.  I get to hunt there once or twice a year. Won't cost me anything other than gas, and it is full of chukars and some huns.  I'll have to hunt with my friends dogs though.
