have cape (bear) looking for a trade possibly...

i still havnt done anything with my bear from this year. i would like a euro mount but am not sure how it would turn out. the bear i shot was running around the twist area with an arrow through its face. not sure why(of course someone shot it). any ways what are your thoughts, the arrow went through its snout and out through the bottom jaw. obviously a bad tree stand shot. anyways what do you guys think. i want to do something with it but money is very tight. i would love to get a shoulder mount but like i said. no money. wasa thinking trading the cape for a quick euro but with the arrow thing i dont think it would work. pm me if you think you can help

oh yea. its a dark chocolate(looked cinimon in the sun) kinda typical for winthrop, and the bear was a little over 200lbs. not sure the size cape it will produce

I dont know, since it is an arrow, the skull is probably intact so I think it would make a cool looking euro mount. Use Michelles rot method and do the skull yourself. Might be a fun little winter project for ya.

i should use the rot method but i have no idea how to skin the head(the right way) and i know somebody out there would love to have this cape. i mean its for free right, i dont want it to go to waste, i'm sure i would screw it up

Where are you located and how much cape did you save? I may work something out with ya.

If the broad head is in the skull I don't know if I would use Maceration. It may cause the BH to rust?
