           They sure are cute little guys. You must be on the west side somewhere with all of that moss on the trees. You don't live in Idaho or Montana or you would have an electric fence wire around the top of your fence. Love those cute little guys

I did'nt go there, but I sure do like lamb.  Mutton is'nt worth a dang but lamb sure is tasty.

Actually, my two boys are going to raise sheep this year for FFA to sell at the NW Wash Fair.  It'll be a new experience for them. On our propterty with a couple friends that will also have critters here. Seems that the normal sources for babe's are potentially short this year. Might have to search around to get the ones we need.

IF you are looking for lambs for FFA I may know of someone who has some lambs  if he is still raising them.  It would be between Lynden and Sumas.

Yes, an adult Bald Eagle is capable of taking a lamb twice the birds weight.

  Better keep an eye the little range maggots, a full grown eagle will take baby goats/sheep without any problem!!

   Bears better not come in our ranch!    I just got three pigs today put them welcome ranch. I was going to tell my daugther about three pigs and a wolf story. But I forget

I forget what a story I remember two.  first one about Straw, blow down escape to 2nd Wood house blow down escape to 3rd Brick house blow unsuccessed then climb over chimney and what happen? I forget..

other story... Blow straw ate first. head to 2nd blow wood ate 2nd pigs and head to brick house blow unsuccessed climb up in to chimney and fall in to Pot and boil him cut up two come out alive with 3rd.

which story should I tell my daugther!

I've actually witnessed bald eagles taking lambs. That was down in Oregon. Ranchers hated them. The eagles would kill one a day.

If you want a really friendly lamb, turn one into a bottle baby. I had to bottle feed this one last year after her mother died unexpectedly. She is an American Blackbelly sheep. In this picture, we were on our way up to the Stampede or Teanaway to do a good hike. She was so much fun! She stuck to me like I was mommy.
She absolutely loved to ride in the vehicle. Fell asleep at times too.

I like it also but it cost's a pretty penny for it over here, 7 bucks for 1lb of ground lamb or 40 dollars for a whole leg of lamb.
