New Bowtech Destroyer 340
« on: January 26, 2010, 12:06:19 PM »
I got my new bow over the weekend. I originally order the 350 but after shooting the 340 and with the extra inch of brace height 7" , i went with the 340. What a nice bow. It pulls like a 60lb bow, shoots a 430 grain arrow at 309 fps. Zero hand shock, easy to shoot...really happy. I guess that's all...I'm just excited!

Good for you, good luck gettin'er bloody!
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
You are never to old to learn something stupid.

Call Roger at Wilderness archery,  in Bow Wa,  he had some.

I got it in Kennewick at the Ranch and Home store in their archery pro shop. I originally bought and paid for the 350  and put it on order. They had a floor model 350 that i shot and loved but was the only one they had on display. Then after waiting 3 weeks I  found out it was going to be another 6 weeks for my order to get in. By then, they had sold the floor model, and they just got in a new 340, the day before ( again another floor model) so rather then wait for that long I pulled the trigger on that one. Kind of glad i switched. The for the loss of speed of another 10 fps i gained another 1" in brace height. I think a good trade. Had i had the chance of shooting both in hind sight I think I would have went with the 340 anyways. It all worked out!
