Anybody have one of the re-Setable .22 metal target?
« on: January 26, 2010, 08:08:23 PM »
Hey guys. I am looking into getting one of the metal targets with multiple targets on it. The kind that you can re-set after you have shot all of the targets. Do any of you folks have one of these, and if so, how do you like them. I want to get one or two of them for the grandkids to shoot at. I have five grand kids and the four oldest (Ages range from 8 to 12 yo) really like to shoot. I just thought that it would be fun for them and it would be a break from shooting paper, balloons and pop cans. So, if anybody has any experience with these types of targets, I would like to hear how you like them. Both "Pro's and Con's please. Thanks in advance.

I have several of them.  They are fun to shoot.  Just don't let any of your buddies shoot them with hi caliber guns.  I have a few that are toast.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

I built a "dueling tree" type setup for my kids and their friends when they were younger.  That way they could add a little pressure and competition to their shooting.  It was a blast.  We went through a LOT of 22 shells!  We still shoot it every once in a while.  It's still fun.
