I want to build points for Wyoming.  From my understanding of the regs, you do not have to buy the license and application before February 1 if you only want to buy a point this year (and not be eligible to draw a tag this year). The way I read it, you can just wait until June 15, submit the points only application with the $50 fee, can someone confirm this for me as this is my first time applying.

Yeah, I know Wackmaster, sorry to hijack your thread but I was going to post my question tonight and hijacking your thread seemed like a lot more fun  

Hope you draw the tag you want (and then you can tell me where to go when I have enough points to draw).  What is max points in Wyoming 4 or 5?

Just noticed you are in Selah.  Did you go to school there?  Reason I ask is my brother and I both graduated from Selah..... Hijack complete

I put my name in the hat with everyone else. Max points, special draw. Not expecting to draw. Probably going to have .oo1% draw odds. I guess someone has to draw.

I've been putting in for unit 62 for 6 years now, do have the max points at 4 but so does everyone else who is serious. I tried the special tag a couple years ago which improves your odds quite a bit, but that is a big check to write. Good luck to you all.

YellowDog I was born and raised in wyo and moved here 12 years ago to be with my wife.My family still live in wyo and I try to go back every 2 to 3 years and hunt with my dad.
