whisker biscuit

Anyone had any experience using a WB with arrow wraps and helical fletching? I wanted to get one because of the ease of use but it seems that the bristles would end up "rolling over" the wrap. Thanks for any help.

Try a Trivan, it's like a wisker biscuit, but the wiskers drop away. I have one and I love it.

The wrap does just fine thru a WB but the helical on your fletch will drag bad and stretch them. You will also loose consistency in arrow flight. I had this exact setup for a short time - It just wasn't working for me, I even switched to a four fletch blazer less the helical and still not that great. I switched to a trophy taker full containment rest - problem solved. Another thing to think about with the WB is if you hunt where the weather gets below freezing and the whiskers are wet they will freeze solid. This happened to a good Friend of mine.

If you take a small sharp set of scissors and trim the whiskers where the fletching go through you will not have a problem. I did this on my daughters bow and it works well.
