First elk drop
« on: February 21, 2010, 05:33:45 PM »
This 7 point had a set the other day. Today he is walking around alone lopsided. Almost acts drunk being out of balance.

Not sure that he is the first elk drop of the season.  Check out my post in the shed section showing one that had dropped Feb 15th.

You'd be off balance too if you had a big weight hanging on one side of your head :chuckle:

I was at Oak Creek Saturday and noticed 2 bulls had dropped. One had dark scabs and one was still bloody. They are dropping!
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!
