Recovery period after Knee operation
« on: February 21, 2010, 08:00:44 PM »
My 7 year old lab is having her knee repaired this week and we're supposed to keep her down and off the leg as much as possibe for 8 weeks.  Any suggestions on  keeping an active lab calm and off the leg.  The wife and I work; so the dog will be alone for 8-10 hr.

Kennel sounds like the only way to keep her from moving for the day

kennel is about the only way that i can see it might be hard to keep her locked up but its better for long term results.
