How much does an FFL dealer charge you to have a gun sent to them on average ??

it varies.  gunbroker has a list of ffl's for the state and show most of the charges they include.  You only need to register for free to view the list.

most of mine are 25.00
some charge 40.00 or a % of total purchase price.
also my local guy will only let me use him for used guns because he wants to sell the new ones himself.

I usually pay $25, but now FFLs are required to collect sales tax on the purchase price of the gun. The shop that I normally go through plans to stop doing transfers because of this.

What part of the state are you from?
The price FFL's charge for a transfer seems to be running $30. to $50 around here.
Cabelas will receive for free, at least they did when I asked a couple of months back.

well it doesnt much matter anymore because i went to cabelas today and picked up a bushmster orc! no ffl needed anymore. thanks for your help guys

I guess the guy I have been going thru is really reasonable then.  Most guys seem to be paying more than the $20 the guy I use charges.
