Yeah they closed the damn rivers now have to go out in the sound.
Hunting and Fishing is not what I do. But who I am...

when did they close the Stilly? I know the smelt were running and people were hammering them.....

They did an emergency closure on all local rivers here. They are worried about the hatchery wild steelhead. Think the true natives have long since vanished. I'll look again but the last I seen the stilly was closed for all fishing.

nice catch, we get alot on a river up in the op, never caught one in the 10lbs range but we get alot of 5-6lbs fish. i have heard that the lewis also has a fair number of them on that river
