Nice rifle... now, take that BSA red-dot off and get something that's going to hold up for more than a few hundred rounds... Ultradot, Bushnell Trophy red dot, etc.

Sweet boomstick!  But I would definitely put some diff glass on it (unless you're shooting shot range)

I hear ya!     A low-power variable (1.5-5x20 is what I have on my DPMS AP4) is about perfect.  It's great for close-in work, as well as reaching out a bit.

yep same exact rifle. vmax rounds do really well

If you're looking for a great low-cost scope, check out a Vortex Crossfire.  They're damn good and have a really good warranty on them.
