"Let our voices be heard"

The Right to Keep and Bear Arms

This right is arguably the most controversial. To those that find themselves unfamiliar with guns, this right invokes fear and visions of lawlessness. For those who practice this right it provides security, sport, and the continuing affirmation of all other rights given to us under the Constitution. For those who fear guns, are those fears based on facts? As a private citizen and a former law enforcement officer, I prefer law abiding citizens having guns. The criminal elements within our communities would prefer that we do not have access to guns. They would not be abiding by the same laws… they’re criminals. I have never had a gun pointed at me by a law abiding citizen. I have been hit by a drunk driver, rear-ended by someone talking on a mobile phone, and attacked by unleashed and/or unattended dogs. Could it be that our fears are misplaced?

I hope he can gain enough support to make a good run at the Senate.  He would truly be a turn in the right direction.  I wish him luck.

I will vote for anyone, any pet, anything to get rid of Murray. A family dog could do a better job of representing the poeple by wagging its tail and licking all the other legislators in Congress. :bash:

I have a question for him. After looking at his website I am little interested why no where on the page does it talk about donating to his campaign. On all the runners sites it list a place to donate etc.. why ... not on his? How is he planning on becoming recognized  within the Washington State?

It will be tough to win from east side fo the state, but glad to have a candidate that is willing to give it a whirl.  His timing may be better than ever based on the current state of congress.

I am pulling for anyone to take down Murray.

Thank you for your question Huntinitup. Dan has decided not to solicit contributions during the primary campaign. One of the reasons he has chosen not to fund raise is the amount of time it would take to try and catch up with the other candidates fund raising, this would take away time he could spend focusing on the issues that people are interested in. We have the technology to get information out to people with little cost via the internet and word of mouth. Dan is hoping that people use word of mouth and technology to get his message out (every day he receives more questions and interest in why he is running his campaign in this way). He explains it in more detail on the Vision page on his website. People seem to be tired of the status-quo politicians; if this is truly the case we can, as a State send a message to Washington D.C. by electing a person that is not a politician. If this doesn’t answer your question or if anyone else has questions Dan said to email him at leblancforsenate@yahoo.com and he would answer them.
