Fished the Olympic Penninsula today and caught 2, lot of work in rainy windy conditions but perty realestate.

i went out yesterday, had to pick between the duc or the cow...i picked the cow and got skunked. i guess i should have went to the duc and at least that way i could have fished some nice water.

Good lookin fish. I have never fished any of the peninsula rivers looks like a blast. Nice job!

They are so chrome, because those rivers are short. This fish from the pic was caught maybe 7-8 miles out from the salt. That is how Peninsula rivers are. I like Salmon fishng there in the fall. I go whenever I can...

yep Carl, had a good time fishing with him, learned alot about float fishing. I fished the penninsula for 30 years even caught a 21 lb.er on the Duc.

I thought that looked like the corner of his boat, he sure does no hit steelhead! I wish I could have made a trip over with him this year just no time. He will always put you on fish.

Nice Fish. Super Bright.
A buddy and I fished the Sol Duc on 2/25 and hooked 5 fish and landed 4. One a beautiful 18 lb. Jack. I've heard nothing but good reports from up there the last month. The guy we fished with has been catching between 4-8 fish a day for about a month now. The day we floated we didn't see another boat on the entire drift until the pull out at 3-rivers. It was awesome.
