Save your money and don't buy any fashion camo (realtree/mossyoak/kings/etc).... buy Predator or ASAT and be good to go no matter where you hunt.

I have been considering the ASAT as well. I am buying the other camo just because it is so cheap on clearance. What was going for $70-90 a set is now less than $25 a set. Thanks for all the suggestions.

I have the KINGS Desert and Mountian I also fill that in with a few MAX-1 outfits. If you have those three you will be doing great. More often than not it's movment that will get you busted not your camo pattern. :twocents:

I have.   The white gnarly one works pretty decent in the sage.  In fact it probably resembles some of this 6-8 foot sage better than it represents what they made it for.

I was wondering what you used for camo!  Now.. have ya painted the camera and bag some sort of blending pattern?  :chuckle:

I've been amazed how how animals look right through or past you when wearing it.  I use mostly Predator but ASAT works on the same principal.  Rather than trying to make you look like a tree/bush/cattail/etc. it works to confuse an animals ability to focus on you.  There's a pricipal in vision called binocular rivalry that it exploits.  The dark lines essentially cause an animal to focus on them.  Since there is no rhyme or reason to em and since the color schemes are very natuaral it's as if they literally can't see you.  I've had deer, elk, coyotes, turkeys, even my own dog look right at me (sometimes less than 5 yards) and not have a clue that I'm there.  It's weird.

Nope, haven't painted the lens yet.....

so now that this has been up a bit, I can afford to be sarcastic.   If you are on the west side of yakima, wear blue, if you are on the east side wear red.   You'll know immediately if I got those reversed.  :chuckle:

i use realtree max-1 and mossy oak open country, but i would venture a guess that the best camo for around yakima would be a sombrero and a saddle blanket  :chuckle:
