Joe Watt Feed Station
« on: March 04, 2010, 04:25:40 PM »
Ive never shed hunted before. I was wondering when they open the gates for shed hunting in the Joe Watt canyon. I thought it would be a fun outing for the family. But is it worth it and can i expect a big crowd?

They open them up may 1st. But you better be there early and have fun fighting all the horse back riders. I went up there last year when they opened it. There were a ton of people looking for sheds. I was out of foot and had 3 horses went by me with a saddle full of sheds. It is hard to compete with those guys up there.
