I have been looking forward to elk hunting since last season ended. I am getting into bowhunting and must say I am addicted. My pops and I put in to hunt Montana this year but even if we don't get drawn I know I will be chasing elk around here. There is just something special about hearing a bull scream through the early morning air that makes ya feel alive!

I am always ready.  I haven't had much time to prep yet with my 8 week old daughter at home but I will get there.  I have a list (and I am I checking it twice) of the things I need to do.

"Elkpiss" is getting a woody, and you're "getting the itch?"  Bad combination. Sounds like it's worse than we thought.

Man I have been watching my hunting videos now for atleast 2 months... my girl has heard me tell the same stories atleast 20 times over... I want to make this a great season since I will be moving to Hawaii in November... I have to admit I have been living vicariously through everyones stories on here... at the same time it makes me want more.... I need to feed the addiction... August 1st cannot come fast enough....
