elk sheds 08
« on: February 10, 2008, 05:00:34 PM »
A friend and I took a trip out on the tour ride at the feed lot there at oak creek, there were alot of bulls about the same size with one horn left hanging.  i also noticed that the majority of these size bulls were locking horns and sprawling alittle around the feed.  wounder if that would be enough to knock it off early.  saw a couple at the nile feeder also. just curious.
Work sucks!!!! I should be shed hunting

There has been 3 raghorns there with one antler since Christmas.  I don't know if they are early droppers or not.  Its weird becasue the rags usually hol onto them alo longer, and for the most part, this is WAY early for sheds coming from elk.
