went scouting today, north east(almost back yard)

we saw 7 hens and last time we where out their we saw 5 big toms  ol_gray feathers son got a big tom in their on his youth hunt. i cant wait till the 15th.  today was supper windy but we still saw birds,besides the 7 hens twice we spooked up turkeys but they where out of site before we could tell what sex they were.

this year will be my first turkey season in wa, does any one have any tips for a new turkey hunter? i've been scouting hard and have seen many birds so far and i have decided where opening day is going to be spent.
