« on: April 08, 2010, 09:39:41 PM »
so a buddy of mine just got relocated for work to and is living just outside of Husum,  was wondering if anyone could help us out and point out some possible places to chase turkeys around there.  not looking for honey holes just somewhere decent to go for opening weekend

thanks in advance,
Steve

There are pretty good numbers around there.  If you spend any time outside you will find them pretty easily!  Knock on some doors where you see them on private property and you might get some permission.

look for a place with a million trucks along the road that is where you will find them.  Seriously though, there is getting to be a lot of private ground around and the birds seem to be drawn to the "safe" ground.  Getting hard to find them where you can actually hunt them these days.
