Here is what sucks. . . I bought a deer and elk tag prior to doing the multi season application.  Yep, you guessed it, that money is down the drain.  Its not much but it is still money, kind of annoying ya know what I mean?

Id take those MF'ers to small claims court...thats theft.

Gentlemen, to clear up confusion:

I recieved my multi season tags in the mail yesterday.  It is a tag.  I am supposed to return my modern rifle deer and elk tags so I don't have two  :P.  I know because it says "tag" and I am supposed to use this to hunt during various seasons.  Accompanied with this is a new liscense that says I am a multi season tag holder.

What do you mean it is down the drain? You have to pay for those tags if you want to hunt deer and elk in this state, whether you draw multi-season or not.

Yeah, they are multi-season permits and you need your transport tags to put on your animals when you kill them.

Multi season permits are too expensive for me........especially since I don't have a bow yet.  But they may be worthwhile for some that have the time to hunt all 3 seasons and already have bow, rifle, and muzzleloader weapons laying around. :twocents:

It means if you buy your regular archery/muzzy/rifle tag before you apply for the multi tag and you are drawn and decide to purchase the multi you will not get your money back for the regular archery/muzzy/rifle tag you purchased prior.  Lesson learned:

1. Buy your liscense
2. Apply for Multi Season
3. Get Multi Season and Buy It - or not get drawn and by your respective normal tag you always throwing money away on the normal tags.

Does that make sense.  They need to put something in the regs to that effect to avoid confusion!  :bash:

I wonder how many people have to try to explain it to you before you get it?  You still have to buy the deer and elk tags even if you draw multi-season permits.

This is directly off the WDFW website for multiseason questions and answers.
 Q. How much does the permit cost?

A. The permit is $180.00 for residents and $1,800.00 for non-residents, plus the cost of the original deer or elk license.

The lesson you need to learn from this is that if you don't want to spend an extra $180 plus the cost of the deer and elk license, then don't apply for the multi-season PERMIT. Everybody pays the same. If you hadn't already paid for the deer/elk license, you would have been charged for it when you paid the $180 for the multi-season PERMIT.

I saw it too.  It's probably not a good idea to post pics of tags with WILD ID and full name on the internet.  So, I'm glad it is gone.  Maybe he can edit out the personal info and post it back up. :dunno:

Anyway, from what I saw.......those are new transport tags that they issued to replace your old ones with.
