WSAA State Safari in Darrington
« on: April 19, 2010, 07:01:25 AM »
This weekend is the Sate safari in Darrington.  April 24-25th.  If you have never shot a safari before they are a lot of fun.  The format is marked yardage, 70 paper targets with an orange dot and yardages range from 4-101 yards.  You shoot 42 targets on Saturday and 28 on Sunday.  2 arrows per target.  Don't let the paper target and the marked yardage scare you off.  This is still a very challenging type of shoot.  Let's you see just how good a shot that you are.  You aren't guessing the yardage so you can put everything into your form.

9 a.m. shotgun start both days.  C'mon out and have some fun.

Paper tuning is for newbies.  I did have arrow flight issues but they are fixed.  And no shooting for me until this weekend.  I don't want to waste any 11's in practice.

Bring it little man.  How many guys from down there are planning on coming up this weekend?

Where is anyone else?  Are all you big bad bowhunters too proud to come shoot some paper?  :hello:  Or afraid to find out that even marked yardage is tough?  :dunno:

Matt I'll be bear hunting so you don't need to worry about a stick bow beating you this weekend.   ;)

Good excuse.  Good luck bears are droppin.  I will be shooting the stick bow this weekend so times will be good.

Cory, as for Joe, he has had it easy the last few shoots.  I'm glad that he's my partner but he better step it up in the individual catagory.  :IBCOOL:
