Back in Washington
« on: May 10, 2010, 02:49:41 PM »
Hello to all, we just moved back to WA. state after being gone for 9 years. I was a rifle hunter when we left and came home from Utah a bowhunter. Some of the rules have me a bit confused. Can we use our Spitfire mechanical broadheads? Can we use our firenocks? If not we have some serious re-tuning to do. Any info would greatly appreciated

No mechanical broadheads.  I don't think you can use firenocks either.  Sorry man, welcome back to the land of the arbitrary...

theres a intro page on the home page stop by and tell us were you are at and some info about you. no mechanical broadheads at all and some fixed blades are not legal as well pick up a copy of fish and wildlife game regs and they will explain what is legal and what is not. any lighted nocks that use battery or electricity are not legal here and you can not have any electric equipment on your bow or arrow at anytime while hunting big game. there are a few glow stick nocks that use chemicals that are o.k.. welcome to washington home of the preditors and land of stupid laws :bash:

Oh well. I guess this just gives more reason to go shopping and do more shoots.

1 more question while I'm at it. Can anyone recommend a pro shop in the area?
