I picked this sight up at Sportco on Saturday.  My father's day present to myself.   :IBCOOL:  I need to install it this week and will try it out this coming weekend.

i picked up a true glo red/green dot scope last week. through it on my pump 30-06 for my fiance to use for bear. went oout yesterday and sighted it in. i was very impressed. sighted it in for 100 since its 0x magnification. got that shooting spot on. then just goofing around we found an old tropicana jug. we set that out at close to around 175 yards. we were hiting it 4 out 5 shots. we though we were missing it because it was falling over, but could see the splash in the dirt behind it. we walk back out to it and could see about 15 holes through it that werent the before. in my oppinion its a great sight. only spent 65$ on it. (i got a gift card to dicks, or i never woulda shopped there).

Ok, I just installed the sight with a little help from my buddy, I didn't have the right size screwdrivers.  This is really cool, I love the rear ghost ring and I can't wait to shoot it this weekend.  Today was a busy day, I also took my hunting rifle in to get the safety repaired and I spent over a grand on upgrading my AR courtesy of my woodworking tools i just sold off.   :o

A little off topic but, what is your adhesive of choice for securing screws when installing sights?

moose eyes,
Blue locktite if you have it or Super glue. Let me know what you think of the hood, should be good for target but hunting may be a differany story.

I didn't use locktite when I installed mine, I might pick up some of that blue stuff just in case.  I'll let ya know how it holds up without it tomorrow.

fine dont ask me :P you know i am biest i love the sight if you ever get down this way lighting you can shoot one on mine with it. and i love it for hunting because it does narrow down what you are looking at and helps you focus on the vitals and the front pin.
