I herd from a man that there are lots of elk in easton is this true :dunno:

There are lots of elk all around through their but only I know where they are that is public hunting land. I would be happy to fill you in on my secrets for a small fee.  :chuckle:

East of easton is really popular, and stampede pass which is west of easton...Lot's of hunters though and is also really steep and thicker than the west side.   :twocents:

Way too many people in Easton. Too many guys riding motorcycles and quads all over the place up there too.  WIth the amount of roads there is no way to get far enough away from the road hunters there.

Saw about 70 of them a few weeks ago.  Went by there today, didn't see any though...

 :yeah:  You are absolutely right about the quads and people.  Two years ago there was a camp with quads that had keys to gated roads.   >:( >:(  You couldn't go anywhere with out hearing quad mufflers......

Yep to all that and quads are illegal up there ta boot.  Everything has to be street legal.  Everytime we had a set up last year it was ruined by someone.  Heck there was a kid sittin in a tree stand and some guy took a dump right under the stand while the kid was sitting there.  I would started pissin off the stand while he was squatted.

I think that the Little Naches is the place to go this year.  :dunno:
