New GSP
« on: May 12, 2010, 08:10:17 PM »
Last year I  picked out and paid for a female GSP from Rockin G kennels in Oklahoma. I had been looking for a black and white female and finally had the one I wanted. I worked out a deal with a guy from Rexburg Idaho that was going to drive down and pick up a pup of his own, to also pick up our pup. Exactly a week from the day I was to drive down to Rexburg and pick up the pup, we recieved a phone call from the US Marine Corps that our son had been wounded in Afghanistan. So to cut a long story short, our priorties changed and we wouldn't have time for a new pup. Jon was very understanding and told us the next year we could have first pick again. Well, here she is whelped 4/12.  Her name is Dot.

Great Looking Pup.  Ours is named Otis and he is still going strong at eight years old.

Great looking pup and nice choice of breed.  My shorthair is the best dog I've ever owned.  Smart as can be and a hunting machine.
