looks like real good times.
I tried real hard to catch big fish in there a whole weekend one time with big baits trolled on the bottom and still caught lots of little fish.

Next time we go over I think we will try the weed line more. They say those big guys will hole up waiting to ambush from there. They obviously catch some big browns from the photos that are posted. I guess that's why they are big, they are a bit smarter than the 12 inchers.

Have you tried night fishing with large Rapala's ?
Or floating a whole nightcrawler off the bottom ?
Those large browns like to come out at night..

My biggest brown out of Fish lake is about 24". A marshmallow/nightcrawler right up in the weeds.

That's awesome!  Love the pics!  I grew up fishing there with my dad and uncle on that lake.  Perch fishing can be real good too.

Stopped by Fish Lake last weekend and dropped a line on our way East, caught a few smaller ones off shore, Very windy!
Never caught any brown's out of the lake, but years ago, when Chiwawa was open we pulled quite a few out of the river, usually just on potsky eggs. Dolly Vardens were my choice back then.

As Rick said, the big browns tend to hang near the tall grass. A couple years ago I watched a kid who was throwing a slip bobber with a nitecrawler into the grass and hooked up a beautiful 7 lb brown. They have a pic of it (and many more) in the store.
