I Bid on a 10D on ebay a couple of days ago and now I have a chance to buy it because the winner did not pay up. with everything that is included it is $390 to the front door it looks nice in the pictures. It comes with a 10D body and

Battery grip for two BP 511 batteries
One BP 511 battery
Canon battery charger CB-5L for BP 511 batteries
Canon Zoom Lens EF 28-80mm, 1:3.5-5.6
58mm polarizing filter for EF 28-80mm lens
Vision Optics 0.38x macro lens for Canon Zoom Lens EF 28-80mm (reduces focal length to 10.6-30mm).
Sigma Zoom Lens 17-35mm, 1:2.8-4
82mm UV filter for Sigma Zoom Lens
Vivitar 500mm mirror lens, f/8.
72mm UF filter for Vivitar mirror lens.

should I go ahead and buy it or is it a little steep?

Make sure the seller is reputable and has good ratings with a long history on Ebay.  Very often the "second chance" offers are a rip-off.  Sorry I can't give advice on the item itself.

As long as the seller is repitable and the 2nd chance offer came through Ebay, you should be ok if you decide to make the purchase.  I've been buying and selling on Ebay since it started and have only been ripped off once.  I only use PayPal as its the safest way for the transaction to happen.

10D is a good camera, used to have one.  Like others say, check the seller ratings.

thanks for the replies... I think I got sucked in by the number of items included and forgot about quality for a little while. I passed on the deal because none of the accesories are worth much of anything. I am now leaning towards a new Rebel XS or similar camera so atleast Its new even if its not "proffesional" quality.

Id watch the local craigslist for a canon 20d or 30d. There has been some pretty descent deals on low shuttercount cameras lately.
