Does scouting count ?
I have hunted 16 days of the season, but scouted 20+ before it opened.
I will be hunting at least 4 more days before the 15th....
I have 3 bears located, I just need to be able to be in the same place, at the same time, as they are.......

I went down to my best spot again , 45 pictures on my camera since the 24th, but because I didnt remember my SD card , they are on the cameras internal memory.. :bash:
At least 3 are of a bear due to another large pile of crap. (3 shot burst)

I've hunted a lot of days after work.  Could I have hunted more yes.  I did take one weekend off to go fishing down at drano for some springers.  Now that work has picked up again I'm starting 15 plus days in the woods and I plan on hunting everday this coming weekend.

First day out within about two hours had a bear on the ground. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. I had scouted the area before the season- not much bear sign but had a feeling.

I hunted 9 days. Memorial weekend was our last weekend, and I skipped it to spend it with the family. I passed up shots at two bears, and did not get a shot at a real pig that just would npt stay still. Tag was Huckelberry.

Have a Copalis tag.  Have hunted every weekend and nothing yet!  I have seen 2.  Never got a shot on the first due to a rookie mistake, and never had a chance on the second.  Caught just a glimpse of him while driving out of the woods to head home.  When I saw him he saw me and did a 180 at lightspeed!  Won't be able to hunt this weekend, its the opening of my Highland Games Season.  But I still have next weekend to seal the deal!  Congrats to the successful and good luck to those who still have season left!

Still working my Kapowsin tag. I am quickly finding out I have no idea what I'm doing up there. Was in there until dark last night came out soaked and didn't see a bear. Oh well just being up there and seeing all the elk has been great. I saw 6 bulls on the 600 walkin area alone a few nights ago and 2 of those were already monster's. I am not giving up though. Rasbo has given me hint's but I still am not able to get it together.

I'm 19 days into Kapowsin with 10 of those into one bear- have seen him once and it's made me loose sleep- he's too big to go chasing anything else at this point. Has anyone else seen multiple 18 daimeter trees peeled? Kinda sends a chill down your spine. If it makes you feel any better Highside, I was soaked too but it sure feels good to be out there anyway- can't shoot one from the living  room.
