Does anybody have a 45 caliber throat reamer? Or, has anyone tried using 320 grit emory cloth and a 3/8" dowel to open up the throats? I bought a 4" Ruger Redhawk in 45 Colt, and the cylinder throats are only .449". I like the gun, but I just don't think it will ever be as accurate as I'd like if it has such tight throats. I've only fired 50 rounds out of the gun so far, but accuracy is nothing spectacular and lead fouling is horrific!

I imagine that having the proper throat dimensions would make a huge differance.
If I can find somebody close by with a reamer I can rent/buy or borrow I'll just open them up myself. If not, I'm trying to decide whether to buy the reamer ($80) or send the cylinder off to the Cylinder Smith and have him open tthe throats up for me ($40).
