ive seen wolves in 39 but no elfs id like 1 of them

Never hunted it, but 45 is supposed to be the Holy Grail.  I didn't know about the date changes though, and I didn't apply this year because I drew MT.  As was mentioned earlier, I think you have better odds of drawing a Montana Sheep tag than drawing Unit 45.  I know jjhunter passed on a stud in 45 last year.  He posted a picture.  I can't even imagine passing on that buck.  Balls of iron jj... :tup:
