Be careful with apples, you might end up getting a lot of predators.
I don't know how well they work for blacktails but the trophy rock works great for whitetails in Stevens county. Sunday afternoon I had 4 different bucks an 5 does (or small spike bucks....could have been both ) come in to one I put out last year. They can go through them pretty fast but once they know they are there just keep them replenished and they will keep coming back.
[ ]Are those trophy rocks scented, and how long did it take before you started getting activity on it?
I believe baiting is unethical. It's not "hunting" if you sit in a tree stand and put out some deer candy.

No no But you come across as very arrogant. So i put a monkey pissing your opinion. Thats all. So carry on with your never used a scope or scent cover , sneaking up on deers and throwing rocks at them methods. To each their own buddy.
Sounds like you kinda suck at what you do. I know plenty of people that dont use bait, tree stands or high powered scoped rifles and have a very high success rate. Mostly archery hunters who get much closer than 50yds.
Sounds like he works for PETA
