Buddy got a bear down in Kapowsin
« on: June 08, 2010, 08:20:17 PM »
Tyring to get himself some love today got this boy killed. :IBCOOL: Butch was in the right place at the right time. No story except he was with a sow which they thought was a cub at first becuase he was so much bigger. The sow started to bolt and they realized he was a boar and dropped the hammer.

Right on! I've been working up there the last few weeks, haven't seen any yet but tons of peels and sign everywhere.  Saw a spot where there was some blood and hair in the road where some hunters had drug one to their pickup though about a week ago.

Looks like a good one!

Butch has been hunting that tree farm for 10's of years.  Good for him.  Now I have to call him to hear the BS story.

Congrats!  I think I met Butch last year, twice!  Once in Hancock, and once over in e.wa.  I had my 4 yr old boy with me if that rings a bell for him.  What cartridge did he use on this?  Was it an Encore?

His son killed a deer in Alkali and his son's buddy killed a monster Bull in Peaches Ridge. Those guys are hunting machines. Old school get out and get it done kinda guy's. They let me tag along if I'm a good boy.
