Bonnie Lake, Whitman County
« on: June 09, 2010, 11:17:26 PM »
Anybody ever fished this lake? Camped on the shoreline? My buddies are heading out there this weekend and are planning to camp there. I have read that the shoreline is all private land, it has an island that I read is state/BLM. Any info would be great. I check the wdfw "goHunt" and got nothing. Thanks.

I've never fished it, but I hear it is a great lake.  I hope your buddies have a small boat to get up the creek.

access will be a problem, may have to go in by using the creek. all private around there, and those guys are peeved with the trespassing the last few years.

I recently heard they ticketed the crap out of everyone that was parked on the side of the road!...every single vehicle...lame, not sure where you are really supposed to park... watch out for Rattle snakes that place is loaded with them and they are also on the island as well... creek is a prop buster for sure, might want a spare prop in case...  :twocents:
