Moultrie i60
«

I bought this for a Christmas present to myself. So far I like what I see. I've had it on continuously for 2 weeks and several days prior and still have 75% battery life. I still need to get it dialed in. Here are some local animals I've captured. It's fun checking it every day to see what I get. Nothing Big or Mean yet, but soon!

I am not a expert, but here is one tip. Don't check it every day. Even with scent proof clothing etc., you are leaving a sent trail. Let it set for a while, and it will improve the amount of animals you are getting on the camera. Maybe I am taking it too literal, or maybe this is in your backyard?

Thanks for the advice, I have thought about that. These animals are literally in my back yard. When I put it out somewhere else I will get in and out with as little impact as possible.

I still need to put a card in mine. I'm just using the internal memory and deleting the ones that are lame. I have a few day time color pictures that I'll put up later. I'm amazed at the battery life I'm getting. I need to put out a few things to entice the critters to come in also. I have to be careful because there will be plenty of bears soon and I don't want them running off with my bird feeders, again!

Well I cleaned the Lens on all four trail cams. Dug out the Bear proof safes and locks. Dug out the cards. Installed the cards in the correct camera. Two are SD(Moultrie.) And two are Compact Flash(Cuddebacks.) Went to Bi-Mart for a Lantern Battery I have one Moultrie that uses it. Got gas and headed up the mountain. I was already leary of not making it in there. The road is on the North slope, and there was more Snow this Winter. Well I made it up to about 3000ft and the first big shady spot had a long drift of snow and that was the end of the trip!!!
I'll try again next week.

Here are some day time shots with the i60. It's only a doe, but one is in the shade and one in the sun. Do I need to resize these? Let me know so I can try to figure out how to do that.

I haven't gotten too much in the last month or so, but here are a couple interesting ones. A crow and an "Up and Comer".

Sorry Tmike, I don't get back to checkin the page after postin sometimes. No I didn't get either of those monsters, and I don't think anybody else did either. So I have been having some dreams about what they look like this year. Unfortunately these buggers were both nocturnal. I didn't get any daytime photos.
