Wolf hunt in 2008 (Part #2)

If you got drawn in Idaho or Montana to hunt Wolves in 2008.  ow many of you would actually make the drive to go hunt a wolf?

I have personally seen wolves on the Clearwater River , the Deary, Id. area ,and also the Graingville area.

THere used to be a moose population around Grangeville.   NOT anymore.  I'd be there so fast Michelle.  I'd take the best predator caller I could drum up and we would go light them up.

Hound hunter have been having trouble with wolves killing their hounds when they are hunting in the Grangeville area. Also take a ATV and ride the trails around Elk River you will find wolves.

who wouldn't want to take a trip to montana or idaho anyway?

i have talked to houndhunters who are no longer interested in running their dogs in idaho because of too many run-ins with wolves. wolves and hounds coming together will always turn out bad for the hounds.

No kidding, That's like someone enteringa contest for a trip on a cruise ship, but not going because they get sea sick.

Well, I wouldn't put in for a wolf tag. I have nothing against shooting those deer/elk eaters, but I'm not going to make a special trip to another state to kill one. If I could get a wolf tag to use during deer or elk season, I would do that, but the cost of the tag would have to be low, under $50. I just really have no desire to go and specifically hunt for a wolf. The way I see it is you shouldn't need a tag for a wolf anyway. Don't need coyote tags, why wolf tags? If they do have tags then give them to everybody who buys a hunting license.
