Elk w/muzzle loader Question? Modern firearm?
« on: June 26, 2010, 06:57:47 PM »
So, I drew a Tag to hunt Roosevelt Elk during the rut, Sept. 20th to the 24th. This is a Modern firearm tag. If I shoot a bull in this State w/a muzzleloader w/a scope and .209 primer and this bull ends up being the biggest muzzleloader Roosevelt bull in this State, will it count as a muzzleloader record or not in this State. :dunno: I'm thinking only Boone & Crockett only. :dunno:

i am pretty sure it would just be boone and crockett, state is a tuffer cookie use to be if your bow was over like 65% let off it would not go in state record. i don't follow them but i would not see them taking it but i am sure someone will know 100% one way or another.
